Lifestyle Insurance Brokers began life in 2005 when Managing Director and company founder, Mark Firth set his sights on combining his passion for all things motor with his strong business acumen. Lifestyle quickly became a strong force in the Motor Trade Insurance sector, establishing relationships with the UK’s top providers for specialist cover.
Continued year on year improvements in both insurer and customer relationships, professional development and access to competitive products resulted in growth of our customer base and the expansion into new office space in both Wilmslow and then Bramhall. The latest move to Meridian House provided capacity for further recruitment of experienced staff to expedite the development of our Motor Fleet, Commercial Combined, Property and Business Insurance Teams. Each team is now boasting strong, extremely knowledgeable sales and customer service advisors.

After selling his stake in a successful property management company that he started and developed into a large organisation. He turned his attention to the associated insurance sector. A motorsport enthusiast he guided the company into the motor trade and fleet insurance sectors and now incorporates his business and property management experience to cover the entire area of commercial combined insurance.
Ian joined Lifestyle as a director in 2007 and has been responsible for the smooth running of the company’s finances and administrative processes, helping to shape the business to what it is today. Before joining Lifestyle Insurance Brokers, his career was made up of a variety of operational management and finance roles across various property-related industries. In his spare time, his passion is skiing.
Liz spent ten years heading up the new business motor trade combined team before switching her attention to the development of our property, commercial combined and business insurance department. She has a strong customer focus and believes every client’s business and approach to risk is individual. She is driven by doing the right thing and working above industry standards to ensure your business is protected. She also has years of senior compliance experience with a leading international finance company. Liz also spent the early years of her life driving across Europe to truck and car exhibitions so working within the motor trade industry feels very much like home.
Starting out life working as a training coordinator in a reputable solicitor’s she turned her attention to the world of insurance and never looked back. Her love for problem-solving is what attracted her to underwriting, she finds the challenging nature of this task highly rewarding. Her caring, joyful, determined, and creative nature allows her to be highly successful in this chosen career path. Billie also loves long walks through nature, jumping on her yoga mat after a hard day’s work, and studying – recently completing a University degree in Business and Management.
Katie is the motor trade and motor fleet sales manager and manages a team of highly trained sales advisors. Katie is a self-motivated individual who has dedicated the last 14 years to working at Lifestyle Insurance Brokers. She has a vast amount of experience in various different sectors of insurance and is very passionate about the company and its growth.
Starting his career with one of the UK’s largest insurance companies, he has since achieved 20 years’ experience in various aspects of the financial services industry. Past employment includes both sales and underwriting roles with leading providers such as Aviva and Citibank completing professional qualifications in financial services along the way. A dedicated member of Lifestyle since 2009 and with a keen interest in all things motor has resulted in working in an industry matched to his knowledge, passion and experience.
Martin began his working life in the telecoms sector. After 20 years working in telecoms, Martin re-trained as a financial advisor, advising on mortgages, investments and life insurance products. A further move into insurance brought him to Lifestyle where he has been working now for a number of years. Martin enjoys weekends away from home and is an enthusiastic traveller.
A vastly experienced and knowledgeable part of our motor fleet department and responsible for assisting with all aspects of the motor fleet product from new business to renewals and adjustments. Ideally suited to provide a helpful and insightful attitude to any issues that arrive, having had a wide variety of experiences in both personal and professional aspects of life, including spells living and working across the globe from the Middle East to the United States. Professional qualifications in financial services back up a solid attitude to achieve the best results for all customers.
After gaining a degree in graphic design, Emma worked for a printing company, she found her strength in the ability to build strong client relationships. She joined Lifestyle in 2010 to work as a senior account manager within the renewals department. After maternity leave, Emma couldn’t wait to re-join the team and continue with the role she loves. The challenges of negotiating, understanding cover, and building lasting relationships keep Emma devout to her customers.
